Have you read ‘I’m just a mouse’

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

If you’ve read ‘I’m just a mouse’ then we’d love to hear what you thought of it.

You could tell what you thought of the story, or the pictures, or whether downloading it worked for you or if it increased your enjoyment of seeing ‘If I was a mouse I would hide in your hood’. You can tell us anything you like!

And if you haven’t read ‘I’m just a mouse’ yet then you can download a copy here.

Thank you!

‘Tank Man’ dates

Monday, August 17th, 2009

Step up. Step left. Step right. Stop tanks. Risk life. Go home.

‘Tank Man’ has now been developed and rehearsed with Gillian Lees performing. It has become a  beautiful physical piece as well as having a special resonance with the stimulus of the real ‘Tank Man’ from the Beijing protest of 1989.

We have confirmed times for ‘Tank Man’ at the Edinburgh Fringe ‘09:

8pm, Monday 24 August and 8pm, Tuesday 25 August at the Forest Fringe,

3.10pm (approx), Wednesday 26 August at the Mock Turtle following a surprise Forest Fringe show.

These shows will be free on entry and you can donate afterwards as you see fit.

We hope to see you there.

‘Tank Man’

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

‘Tank Man’ is a short performance piece by Tim Nunn, written during Anthony Gormley’s ‘One and Other’ on the fourth plinth of TankManWebTrafalgar Square. Tim’s blog for ‘One and Other’ describing ‘Tank Man’ is here.

It is a one person show inspired by the real ‘Tank Man’ who stopped the tanks as they attempted to get to Tiananmen Square, Beijing in 1989 to suppress the student demonstrations. It will be performed by Gillian Lees.

‘Tank Man’ will be shown for free during Edinburgh Fringe ‘09 alongside ‘Funny (don’t make me laugh)’. Times and dates for ‘Tank Man’ have not yet been set but if you email us (info@reelingwrithing.com) we will let you know the schedule as soon as we have it. Or you can revisit www.reelingwrithing.com (not necessarily this page).
