No need to have a lengthy introduction, or to ask anyone to be quiet! A room full of chatting mothers and noisey babies ~ 'The Presents' begins soft and gentle and a natural silence fills the room. The perfomers have captured the attention of everyone, even the youngest baby, the atmosphere is calm with a sense of curiosity and wonder ----- what is going to happen!! A family of hedgehogs going for a walk, bells chiming, ribbons flowing or boxes spinning the list is endless but wonderful and the time passes so quickly! Thankyou. Amazing!!

Wonderful and chilling counterpoint between humor and war. I saw the Aug 20th showing at the Fringe; the pacing was a little fast and made it a little difficult for my American ears to follow all the dialogue. Other than that, flawless. Special props for whomever played the solider/comedian-wanna-be. I've always found clowns a little creepy, and it was interesting watching him get more and more sinister/ tinged with a certain kind of madness as the play progressed.
